1972 French "La vache qui rit" (The Laughing Cow) Handkerchief

A vintage French handkerchief features Dopey in a yellow outfit standing with a cow. The text along the top translates to pasteurized Laughing Cow, the brand name for a cheese. The cow is the dairy's logo. Measures approximately 8" x 9". "© Walt Disney Productions" imprint in lower left.

Special thanks to Elf P for additional info on this hanky.

The December 2, 1972 issue of Le Journal De Mickey included a La vache qui rit advertisement. They were offering 13 Snow White stickers, one in each box of cheese.

  1. 'La vache qui rit' is the name of a French cheese. This cow is in their logo. So this is actually a commercial. Greetings Piet
